Structural design
The property is a stone built country house that was damaged by an earthquake. Therefore it was registered as "not habitable" because structurally unsafe. L&G carried out the design of the structural works, including the enlargement of the existing foundations, the bracing of the external walls (with iron beams, pillars and ties), strengthening of the intermediate floor, and works to the roof. The design was supported with detailed structural calculations, submitted and approved by the local authority.
